This website provides general information and is not an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, a franchise or brand license. A brand license grants specified brand-use rights; it does not authorize the practice of law. Whether a proposed brand-license, management-services, or combined arrangement is a franchise depends on its terms, representations, operation, and applicable law—not its label. A license label does not create an exemption from franchise law. Any proposed Relevant Law arrangement requires jurisdiction-specific franchise and professional-responsibility review before any offer, sale, or implementation. Any franchise offering will be made only through the applicable Franchise Disclosure Document and in compliance with required disclosure and registration procedures. In states that require registration of franchise or business-opportunity offerings — including Washington and Virginia — no offer or sale will be made to residents of those states unless and until the offering has been registered and declared effective, or an applicable exemption is available, and any legally required disclosure documents have been delivered in compliance with applicable law. This website is not directed to residents of any jurisdiction where such an offer would be unlawful. No registration, exemption, or authorization to offer is represented by this website. References to Alden Kinsley describe Alden Kinsley PLLC's current Virginia practice, not an available franchise or brand-license offering.
